Explanatory note:

• Terms such as 'online', 'digital' and 'computer-based' are almost synonymous and tend to be used interchangeably in English.
• To avoid misunderstandings, provide additional explanation when using this term (e.g. testing takes place in a computer lab at the UvA).
• If there isn't room for explanations (in a timetable, for example) consider just using the term 'test' or 'exam'.
